December at Primary School No. 12 in Kielce was filled with a unique festive atmosphere.
As part of the project ‘Świętokrzyskie – development and partnership for professional counselling’, Christmas meetings were held for students, which became not only an opportunity to celebrate the upcoming Christmas together, but also a moment to reflect on values such as empathy, social engagement and mutual support.
The events were organised by the Association Integration Europe-East, which focused primarily on ensuring the integrative nature of the meetings. A special moment was the presentation of Christmas gifts to those students who stand out for their active attitude both in and outside the school environment – e.g. through participation in the Szlachetna Paczka charity campaign, involvement in nativity plays or other social initiatives.
The Christmas gatherings were made possible thanks to funding from the National Institute of Freedom – Centre for Civil Society Development, which emphasises the importance of cooperation between non-governmental organisations and public institutions in activities for children and young people.
Association Integration Europe-East would like to express its sincere thanks to the management of Primary School No. 12 in Kielce for their openness, support and active participation in the project. The December meetings showed that the festive season is an excellent time to build relationships, strengthen civic attitudes and inspire young people to do good.
